Biography
Professor Peter Grubb trained at Cambridge University. His PhD in plant physiology won a substantial prize but proved unsound. He was an ecologist on the staff of the Botany Department (later Plant Sciences) all his ‘working life’, researching on all kinds of vegetation from rainforests to semi-deserts. The history of architecture is his main hobby, and he loves Continental cheeses.
